To support females that have not met the criteria for local DV services to ensure they are safe and not vulnerable on the streets. Support someone that maybe vulnerable and there is no duty of care under homeless act. The Haven: Applied for £4920 The Alternative Giving Grant was requested and awarded for £4920 to fund the below: To provide a safe place to sleep and holistic support for women in Wolverhampton with no recourse to public funds (WNRPF) who have experienced domestic abuse and are the most at risk of domestic homicide and disproportionately victims of forced marriage. The grant was needed to support WNRPF a very vulnerable group of women that the grant would support: Gaining bed space in one of the secure, anonymously located refuges, key workers and wrap around support including counselling, practical help, and support with their leave to remain applications and resettlement costs.
