Activities
We advance animal welfare of cats and dogs. We provide foster homes and we identify suitable permanent homes in the UK for unwanted/abandoned/lost/stray domestic animals from abroad, particularly from Greece. We provide financial aid, through fundraising, for medical care, including neutering and for transport to the UK, according to current legislation; we raise awareness of the public.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) For The Benefit Of The Public To Relieve The Suffering Of Unwanted, Abandoned, Lost, Stray Domestic Animals From Abroad, Particularly From Greece In Need Of Care And Attention And, In Particular, To Provide Foster Homes In The UK And Working To Identify Suitable Permanent Homes In The UK For The Reception, Care And Treatment Of Such Animals.(2) To Advance The Education Of The Public In Matters Pertaining To Animal Welfare In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals.
