Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit: 1) To Preserve And Protect Good Health, Relieve Sickness And Relieve Poverty Related To The Effects Of Life Limiting Illness By Such Means As Are Exclusively Charitable In Law And In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By: A) Providing Grants Of Financial Assistance Designed To Support Persons Who Are Suffering From The Impacts Of Poverty Related To Life Limiting Illness; B) Providing Grants Of Financial Assistance To Persons Impacted By Life Limiting Illness And Their The Families To Assist In The Provision Of Equipment, Facilities And Services Designed To Relieve Their Suffering Whilst Being Cared For At Home; C) Sponsoring And Arranging Family Holidays For Those Patients And Family Members Who Are Impacted By Life Limiting Illness, Including Travel Insurance, Accommodation And Flights; 2) To Advance The Education Of The Public In All Areas Relating To Poverty, Health And Life Limiting Illnesses In Particular By Providing Grants Of Financial Assistance To Fund Research Into Life Limiting Illnesses, Their Causes, Treatment And Cure And To Publish The Useful Results Of Such Research.
