moral improvement by promoting the teachings of Tao Confucius. 11 aims to spread core
values of Dao which make for a better, more tolerant, open and peaceful society.

We believe Ihal there is one God, we believe God is what we calbd the Dao, etemally exislenl
in everything. We believe Ihal the Dao ultimately governs everything.
We believe that the Dao is the origin. and the Dao is aEso the law of everything.
Wa believe that all souls are given life by Dao. invisible from our naked eye. yet It manifests as
the quality of morality as kindness, virtuous and trulhtulness.
We believe that everyone's soul come from Dao, everyone's lrfe is given by Dao, and everything
relies on Dao.
We believe that by helping our fellow people to actualising th8 indwelling of Dao wthin everyong,
gnables them to live a godly life. A lrfe that is with good qualty, morality. loyalty, civility, respect
and aLtl0nomous￿ harmonious.
StruGlurè. gov•rnance and management
Nan Ping Spirftual Cultivation Organization of the UK was founded as a Company Limited by
GuaTantee and not having a Share Capital in November 2016 and registered as a faith-based
charitable company in November 2019.
We aim to spread the core values of the faith 'l-Kuan ITian} Dao" which is rooted in Chinese
tradition and based on the teachings of T80 (Daol and Confucius. The doctrines and the
teachings emphasise values such as family, honour, respect and moderation, vegetsrianism,
seW4Jiscipline and high morals and ethics.
The Iruslees are responsible for the management of the organisation. The Iruslees are fulty
aware of the teachings of Dao and Confucius and l-Kuan Tao values when making decisions,
and always keep in mind th8 objects of the Organisation when discuss and review which
activities to be carried out by the organisation.
JI Irusfjees give of their lime freely and no tTUStee ￿m￿neratIOn was paid in the year. The
trustees are required to disclose all rdevant interests arid where necessary withdraw from
ecisions where a conflict arises.
Gr3nt4naklng pollcy
The ¢haTty is mainly fvnded by donation, which is given by either bank online transfer or cash
deposit of collection box. The charity is still at its initial years as il just starts up in Ihe country
and due to the difflcull situalK)n of Covid-19 pandemic since early 2020, the funding was
primarily supportgd by the members of th8 overseas assoclaled organisalions and a few
followers in the UK.
The Iruslees have tsken the due diligence procedures seriously. an Anti-money Launderlng
Policy is applth. which includes verrfwn9 the identity of donors before ac￿ptIng any donations.
ACTivrrES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Commencing February 2023, followi￿ the alleviation of the pandemic, we are resurning our
ustomary meetings and the annual sacred congrègallon.

The Charity facilitates access lo worship services as a means to foster the development of
¢onscienlious individuals who, in turn, contribute to a more tolerant society by instilling the core
values of l-Kuan Dao.

Fortnightly on Sundays, a small group convenes to engage in the reading and study of Dao
scrlplures.

Volunteering holds a significant role in our spSrilual loumey, enriching our religious t)ractic* by
fostering a selfless and compassionate heart. It serves as a powerful calalysl for the
devalopmenl of higher moral and ethical values, elevating us to a more profound spiritual plane.
WiÈhin (iur Dao community. there is not just encouragement bLJt a genuine eagerness lo engage
in voluntsry contributions al the temple. Remarkably, those who have embraced this path report
a profound transform8lion-Ihey discover greater happiness, inner peace, heightened
forgiveness, and a profound sense of spirftual fulfillment.

In our ongoing effort to promote the adoption of a vegetsrianlvegan lifestyle, we actDiety engage
individuals through the sharing and preparation of vegetsrian meals. Aligned with the principles
of Dao, our approach embodies the values of love, peace. equality, and mercy. As practitioners
of Dao, we rocDgnize our r8sponsib51ity lo care for all lThiing beings and the environment.
On July 9. 2023, we organizeij a cc>mpelling vegetarian event liUed'Healthy DSel, Healthy Life..
Renowned speaker Dr. Janus Lee fmm New Zealand graced the occasion, delivering an
enlightening ledure enriched with a compelling case study and nulrilional insights from an
epidemiological peTsp&clive. To enhance the experience. we curated 8 dele¢tsble array of
vegetarian cuisines for all attgndees lo savor following the insighfful discourse.
The event proved to be a reso*Jnding success, garnering an abundan¢¢ of positive feedback.
Attendees expressed their appreciallon, recommending that we host similar events more
frequentty. This positlve response reaffirms our eommilment to fostering awareness about the
benefits of a vegetarianlvegan lifestye 8nd eno)urages us to oontinue organizing impactful
events in the future.
Annual Holy Congregatlon
On July 2, 2023, we hosted our one4ay Annual Hdy Congregation. The event leaturgd
enlightenlng lectures on doctrinal teachings, in-depth studies of holy messages. and an
exploration of the vegetarian movement. All attend&es were treated lo nourishing vegetarian
meals for both lurrch and dinner. We extend our sincere gratttude to Ihe devoted supporters and
coILgboralor$ from asscKialed organizations overseas for their unwavering support and
assistance.
f. Chinese Nèw Year 8le$slng$
From January 22nd lo February 5th, 2023, we celebrated the vibrafit Chinese New Year,
ushering in the Year of the Rabbit. This festive period holds profound significance for the Asian
commijnity, particularly for those residing in distant lands. Our calendar was brimming wlh
meaningful prayers and blessings, creating an enriching atmosphere of r8union for those
separated from the comforting emt)race of home and family.

Foreign currency translatlon
Transactions in foreign currencies are initially r8¢ognised at thè rats of exchange ruling at the date
of the transaction. At the end of each reporting period foreign currency monetary Items are
translated at Ihg closing rate of ex¢hange. Non-monetsry items that are measured at historical cost
are translated al the rale ruling al the dale of the transaction. All differences are charged to profil
or loss.

The company only enters Into basic financial instrument transactions that result in the recognition
of financial assets and liabilities like trade and other debtors and creditors, loans from banks and
other third parties, loans to related parties and investments In ordinary shares.
Financial assets that are measured at cost and amortised cogt are assessed at the end of each
