December 2025.
The financiBI stateynents comply with CLFrrent statulory réquirement& the charity's Constitution and the provisions
of the Statement of Recommended Practi￿ ISORPI applicable to charities preparing their accounts
accord8neÈ with the Financial Reportin9 Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS102}.
Objectives and activities
The objeds ol thè chatity 8re for the public benefit to relieve the sickness, suffering 8nd distress of those per80n8
{and their families) who are suffèring from myocarditis land olher similar relaled condition81, in partiGular but not
limited to by promoting research into the Gau5¢$, dia9nOSiS, treatment and prevention of myocarditis.
The charity raises funds lo finan￿ research in aceordance vAth its obieGls by seeking donations and by
organising fundroising event5.
Achlevements and performancè
In 2025 the ¢h8rity raised £93,43S12024: £104,470) in donations and from fundraising evEnts.
Event income lolalled £18,27912024.. £16,989) in 2025.
Financial revlew
At 31st D8cember 2025 the total of unrestricted reserves ol the charity w8$ £129.588 {2024'. £%,35618nd
r&stricted funds of £21,266 {2024'. £24,153}. All resÈtves wll be distributsd in accordance wth thè charity's
obiectives.
Reserves are held by thè tharity to fvnd r6s&arch into Myocarditis. No level of reserves arè required to be held
as salary costs are cov¢rBd by trustee donations.
Once sufficient reserves have buitt, a dtsnation will be made from the charty to The Royal Bromplon Hospllal for
the purpose ol funding their re3ear¢h into Myocarditls.

governed in accordance with ils ctsnstitution on 14th November 2019.
MEMBERS
The tnjstees have no beneficial Interest in the chaiity.
Trustees meet al not les5 than 8ix-monlhly intervals to review the charitys fundralslng perfomianoa and aCtiV￿e$
in connection wllh ils objects.
In line with the charily's Goristitution. thè trust8es are appointed for an inttial period of four years and may be re-
appointed thereafter.
Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee musl be appointed by the Founder. If Ihe Founder ceases to bè
a charity trusteÈ, sueh appointment shall be by resolution of the charty tiuslees.

Charities Act 2011. In ¢arrying OLII tny examination I have followed the Directtons given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515llbl of the Charities Act 2011.

1021 in preferenw to tho Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Stalernent of Recommended Practice issued on 1

been done in order for thè financial statements to provid¢ a tiue and fair view in accordance wth UK Generally

1.1 Accountlng convention
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the charrty's goveming do¢vment. the
Charities Act 2011. FRS 102'The Financial Reporting Standard applicobl¢ in the UK and Republic of Irelond.
I FRS 102.1 and the Charili¢s SORP "Accounting and Reporting by Charib"es'. Slatèmenl of Recommended
Practicè applicable to chariti8s preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Slandard
applittable in the UK and Republic of Irèland IFRS 1021" (effective l January 20191. Tho charity is a Publ
Benefit Entity as d¢fined by FRS 102.
The charity has taken advantage of the provisions in the SORP for charilies not lo piepare a Statemenl of
Cash Flows.
1.2 Going concem
The accounts are prèpared on a going concern basis. A5 at the balan￿ sheel date of 31st Decernber 2025
the charitable ch8rlty had nel assets of £150,854 which the trustees consider are sufficient. The on
committed spending is for salaries, which is covered by ongoing donations from a Iruslee. Onc8 resÈNès
have butll up a donation 13 made to the Roy81 Bromplon Hospital.
1.3 Fund accounting
Unrestricted funds ran bè used in accordance with charitable objectives at the discretion of the tru51e¢s.

Expenditu￿ is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been ¢lassthed under headings that aggregate all
cost related lo Ihp category.
1.8 Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents include cash in hand, deposits hèld at call with banks, other short-tem liquid
investments wth original malurilies of three months or less. and bank overdrafts. Bank overdrdfts are shown
wilhin borrowngs in cul￿nI liabilitles.

Basie financial Itabilities
Basiofinancial liabilili8s, iricluding creditors are initsa￿Y recognised at transaction price.
Trade creditors are obligations to pay for goods or services that have been awuiied in the ordinary course of
operations from suppliers. Amounts payable are Glassrfied as current liabilities if paytnent is due within one
year or less. If not, they are presented as non-cuiront liabilities. Trade creditors are recognised initially at
Ir8ns8Ction price.

The charity is exèmpt from corporation lax on its charitable activities.
