**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL ABOUT ISSUES RELATING TO PEOPLE WHO ARE REFUGEES AND PEOPLE WHO ARE SEEKING ASYLUM. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONGST PEOPLE WHO ARE REFUGEES AND PEOPLE WHO ARE SEEKING ASYLUM IN HULL AND THE SURROUNDING AREA [THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, RELIEF OF DESTITUTION AND] BY SUCH [ANY OTHER] MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.

**Activities:** The charity encourages the provision of new services, and also shapes the delivery of existing services, for sanctuary seekers, principally through the application in Hull and East Riding of national City of Sanctuary  schemes which accredit those organisations which meet the schemes' criteria.  The charity also co ordinates and facilitates the delivery of Hull Refugee Week in the same locality.
