Iain Shaw **Position** Chair Treasurer Secretary ## Trustees are nominated and elected at the AGM. ## **Summary of the Objects of the Charity as set out in its Governing Document** To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals in North Yorkshire who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life. ## **Summary of the Main Activities Undertaken for the Public Benefit in Relation to the Charity's Objects** The Charity has maintained recreation facilities on the site including the play area, bowls green and pavilion, tennis courts and pavilion and main Pavilion. ## **Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charity for the Year** Working with sports clubs who are based on the site to maintain sporting facilties and encourage players back to sport after COVID Lockdown. 2021-2022 has been about building back up to pre covid activity levels. The Annual 10K run and Firework Display were reinstated. All sports clubs have resumed normal activity. **Charity Number: 1186336** ## **Covid 19** The Trustees have restricted the use of the facilities and the activities of the volunteers in line with Government and other Covid restrictions and advice to limit social interaction of both customers, volunteers and members. ## **Public Benefit Statutory Declaration** The trustees declare that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the commission in exercising their powers or duties. ## **Reserves Policy** At 31st August 2022 total reserves (all unrestricted and held as cash at bank) amounted to £23220 Trustees aim to build up reserves to refurbish the pavilion.
