In undertaklng the plannlng of the m8ny artivities undertaken durfng the year, we have 18ken Into account the
Charlty Commlsslon guidance on publlc benefit and in p8￿C￿lar in relation to the guldance relatlng lo the
advancement of religion. We have sought to ensure that all our aclvil8s are available and open lo all wllhln the
ommunlty of Christchurch, both In the provlslon of 8aNl¢es of worshlp and Sn provlslon of communlty a¢tivlty and
support.

ChurGh servlces continu8 to be live-streamed, which ha5 provlded connectlon for those unable lo retum to In-person
services and those unable to attend for pastor81 reasons. As best as we can measure, attendance on Sundays ha
grown when comblnlng OUT In-person and on-llne audlence5. Our livè-streamed service is avallable to watch on
alch-up whlch has further Increased our reach. In addition to our Sunday momlng services, we provlde a wld
ranging number of activities to connect wlth our Iccal comrnunity.

Following the refijsal In September 2020 of our plonnlng applicatlon to develop the slte on 51 Bargats$. our 2020
IAsion Bulld Team. a8 authod8ed by the Church Members. worked on a new planning application. Thls was
8ubmltted to Ihg local aulhorlty Planning Committee in June 2022 and in February 2023 that commlttee granted
consent lo develop the site. In May 2023, Project Flve.'One lour new name for 2020 M51on} was laUnd￿d with
view to managlng the development and ralsing the ne¢eBs8ry fjJnd8 to pursue the SU¢xessful plannlng appllcauon.
In October 2023, a glft and pledge d8y ral¥ed approprlale funds to conllnue plans to develop the new building on 51
B8ryales, alongslde developlng the exlstlng chr16￿an C8ntre and church Sanctuary. 11 Is anlicipaled, subject lo
sufflclenl monthly pledges being made lo maintsin payments on a loan. th81 tenders S￿11 be sought and bulldlng
work commenced In Dècember 2024. A linkgd company, Chrlstchurch Bapti81 ChuTch Development Company, ha8
been formed to enablo US to redalm VAT on Va￿Ou8 a8pectB of tha project.

We have good links with other local churches and organlsalons, Indudlng Chrlstchurch Food Bank, Safe Famlll88
and we shared wlth several churches In a lolnl Good Frlday service.
Slgnlficanl NnanGlal and prayer support has also conllnued for over8ea8 and UK-basgd mis¥lon work and projects,
with 1Snks lo Uganda. Peru, eastern Europe 8nd southeast Asia. Esther Boulton, a Church member, works wlth
Eklsa Mlni5trie¥ in Uganda.

Regular monthly monagem8nl accounts are prepared by the Tre88urer and presented lo the Leadershlp team and
on a quarterly basls lo the Church meetlng. The moSn operaoonal bank accounts for the Chur¢h are held with The
Co-operative Bank PLC and Lloyd8 Bank PLC.
