**sum earmarked for the new Masayuki**
**Tayama Bursary Fund, which will enable**
**more students who need financial**
**support to attend PTC courses),**
**£1,500 has been awarded to a Ukrainian**
**student, who has settled in the UK, for**
**the 2025-2026 Cert PTC course (we are**
**aiming to award appx £1,000-£1,500**
**each year for 5-10 years).**
**The Cert PTC continues to be in line for**
**accreditation thanks to the Matossian**
**estate bequest from last year. This**
**process is nearly complete, and has**
**already resulted in a more professional**
**look for the PTC as smart new templates**
**for all tutors’ lectures and handouts**
**have been designed for its purpose.**
**The three new courses have all been**
**successful:**
**1. The foundation Course for piano**
**teachers who are not yet ready to enrol**
**on the full Cert PTC, attracted 6**
**students.**
**2. The fast track course towards the new**
**ARSM Teacher Diploma (a Level 4**
**qualification) attracted 4 students.**
**3. The advanced course for Cert PTC**
**holders who wish to continue to develop**
**their skills and work towards an ABRSM**

**Also, 2024-2025 saw the addition of**
**many one-off workshops, for both in**
**person and online piano teachers,**
**added to the existing four courses.**

**documentation, and secured £3,000 for**
**student bursaries from the Thriplow**

I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner's statement** I confirm that I am qualified to undertake the examination because I am a member of the ACCA, which is one of the listed bodies, in section 124 of the Charities Act 2011. However, as the charity’s gross income does not exceed £250,000, it has not been mandatory to assign an independent examiner from a listed body. I have completed my examination.
