March **2012** **TAR** 3 Section D Achievements and performance **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** The Charity fulfilled its purpose and objective and provided a full playgroup service through the Medium of Welsh to children of 2 and a half to 4 years in the Denbigh area. Approximately 38 children were on roll during this financial year. The Cylch staff worked tirelessly during this financial year to continue to grow the Cylch and recover revenue lost during Covid. No statutory inspections were carried out during the financial year 24-25. Plans were made during 23-24 with the Local Authority to commence the build of a new purpose built early years setting, would be built on the grounds of Ysgol Twm o’r Nant, our local Welsh Medium Primary School. The trustees and the committee of Cylch Meithrin Bodawen agreed that on moving to the building, Cylch Meithrin Bodawen would merge with the existing Under 4s provision on site, to form a new charity in due course. It is anticipated that the new build will be ready in the Autumn of 2025. The trustees and the committee of Cylch Meithrin Bodawen in the winter months of 2025, have begun to plan the merger with the other under 4s provision in preparation to move to the new site.
