| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During the period of this Report, the charity has succeeded in raising sufficient funds to make possible two cash donations to charities which work directly to support stroke survivors. One donation was to ‘The Stroke Association’, and the second donation to ‘Interact Stroke’. These two charities were identified by the Trustees as bringing particular benefit to stroke survivors. By supporting the two organisations identified above, the Trustees believe this make a significant difference to stroke survivors and that this in turn satisfies the core objective of the charity. In the period since 01 April 2021 the Foundation has continued to support charities working with stroke survivors and their families with further grants. The most recent grants were made in October 2021. The Foundation expects to continue providing cash grants during 2022 as additional funds are raised. |

of the period
The Foundation’s core income during the
period of this Report originated with a charity
fundraising event, ‘The Fall Ball 2019’.
An additional source of income in 2021 was T-
shirt sales. Other cash donations were also
received via Just Giving, and CAF.
Again, it is expected that the primary source
of the Foundation’s income will be due to
fundraising events, such as ‘The Spring Ball’
due to be held in March 2022.
