m4m Report for Trustees 2023
1. New Trustees
Our former treasurer Robert Dallimore stood down in May 2023, due to relocating to Hayling Island. I owe him a great debt of gratitude for his good work in keeping the books balanced, and in timely advice to provide all the documents required by the Charity Commission and HMRC.
Matt Burrage has joined us as a new trustee in March 2023. He will bring much expertise and help in mobilizing young people through social media and fundraising.
Robin Sing has joined us in July 2023 as the new treasurer.
Registration of new trustees with the Charity Commission has been very easy and straightforward, but change of mandate with Lloyds bank has proven to be very slow and complicated, and not helped by contradictory advice by bank personnel.
2. Independent Examiner
I haven’t heard back from Phil Rust if he’s willing to continue his ministry as Independent Examiner

4. Developments of projects

a. Daniel & Vidi Mascareno; to Canada to work with Chinese diaspora ministries team, before they start similar work in Tijuana, Mexico

c. Granja Vila Nova family from Brazil, preparing to go to Thailand

d. Malata Salamu from Nigeria, to complete her studies in primary health care to better equip her for ministry to Hausa women in Accra, Ghana

e. Oana from Romania and Pierre from France to go as short-termers to Japan

f. Murry family from India, withdrawn their application to go to Cambodia for ministries to tribal people

Several more trust funds approached for support of m4m projects; possibility of obtaining €4,000 from URCO, Netherlands

Encouraged by the overall donations, but still low numbers of donors, especially of the younger age group.
