## **Trustees Annual Report 2023/24**
Llantwit Major and Cowbridge Lions Club (CIO) was registered as a charity by the Charity Commission on 12th November 2019.
LM&C Lions are part of Lions International, a leading world organisation committed to helping local communities and the wider community in times of crisis, their mission statement is to be a global leader in both community and humanitarian services. LM&C Lions plays an active part in upholding the principles of being an effectual member of Lions International in not only helping to raise funds for worthwhile causes but to give time and aid to others when needed.
Currently, there are four (4) Trustees:

We continue to support the Cowbridge Gateway Monday club through the year by providing transport for members to attend club meetings and arranging Monday Club events.
We facilitate the Vale Stroke Support Group which holds monthly meetings specifically for anyone who has had a stroke or is affected by someone who has had a stroke. This is an informal get together for people to chat to others often with first-hand knowledge of all aspects of coping with Strokes
The Llantwit Major and Cowbridge Lions club has enjoyed a varied social calendar this year
We arrange activities throughout the year to support our community and raise funds for our charitable work
LM&C Lions hold funds in three (3) separate bank accounts, the Charity Account, Activity Account, and the Admin Account.
