Resolution 2: Trustees Report
This This year we have built up funds for some works that need to be done on the church.
During the year the church gates were renovated and repainted and the gate posts rebuilt with new steel bars inside. We are awaiting the invoice at present. We will make a grant to the church at this time to cover the costs.
The other funds are earmarked for other necessary works over the coming year.
The trustees were involved in cleaning of the church, facilitating Christmas Services and other services.
The trustees ran a successful Scarecrow and Garden’s event in July last year with the village hall. We raised £400 for the Friends.
The trustees facilitated day to day access to the church when required for workmen, and users of the church including baptisms. We also opened the church on alternate Sundays over the winter. We have stopped at present due to the lack of numbers visiting but we will revisit over the summer.
We asked villagers to support the church and were pleased that 12 now give regularly and 1 has given a one off donations to the charity.
Meetings were held by the trustees on 9[th] May 2022, 22[nd] June (AGM last year), 3[rd] November 2022, and 10[th] Mar 2023.

Resolution 3: Finance Report
I am pleased to lay the financial statements before the trustees.
We had £2,416 of donations of which £50 were one off donations.
Average monthly donations are £198.
We raised £389 in fundraising for our Open Garden event.
No grants were made in the year. We are expecting to grant circa £1,500 shortly for the repair of the gates for the church which have now been completed.
