The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: - **i.** examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, - to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity - **ii.** Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act), and - **iii.** to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. ## **Basis of independent examiner’s statement** My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. Accounting Policies** ## **Basis of preparing the financial statements** The financial statements of the charity, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102) 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2015)', Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' and the Charities Act 2011. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. ## **Tax status** The charity seen has a charitable status and hence exempt from Tax on its charitable activities ## **Income** All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities once the charity has entitlement to the funds, it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably ## **FUND ACCOUNTING** Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of the general objectives of the charity. ## **Expenditure** Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular headings they have been allocated to activities on a basis consistent with the use of resoueces ## **Fund Accounting** Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes within the objects of the charity. Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes. most. In this we hope to bring benefit, relieve
and assist victims of poverty, natural disaster,
or catastrophe, by the supply of food, water
and moral support. We also hope to inspire to

covid pandemic.

We handed out books in Ghana.
Clothes and shoes have been provided to the
needy in Uganda.
We supported local charities and helped them in
particular sporting facilities
We had a sustainable goats and livestock project
in Malawi as well as tree project in Zambia
We have continued he building work of a spiritual

UK provided Hot meals to the needy of South
Africa via various registered charities.
We performed a Homeless patrol in Nottingham
which sparked the starting up of an ongoing
project which we call Rumi’s Table where we
provide hot and cold food for the homeless,
refuge and needy communities of Nottingham
every Saturday evening.
We provided winter essentials and clothing for
homeless people in Nottingham.
We provided winter, hot food, blankets and
sweets to the vulnerable people of Sindh in
Pakistan via hope for mankind
We have given peoples gifts and meat
distribution in Uganda, Malawi, Zambia and
Ghana.
We helped Gaza and Palestinian refugees via

Lesotho, 300 in Zambia per week and 500 in
Uganda per month.
We distributed seasonal greeting card and
chocolates to local people and businesses.
In Ramadhan we send funds to serve 100 people
in Ghana daily as well as 200 people daily in
Uganda, South Africa, Malawi and Zambia to help
them open and break their fast.
We distributed Qurans in schools in Ghana and
