## Objectives and achievements.

Our aims for 21/22 were to reach out through the network of music teachers to encourage then to approach us where they identify developing musical talent and also financial need and commence granting awards under the terms of the constitution. The pandemic continues to restrict normal freedoms and holding fund raising events are likely to be restricted for health reasons.

In the year we have had six requests which resulted in five grants being awarded.

Grants were awarded to assist:-

- Two students attendance at a specialise music summer school.

- Hire of professional marimba for a music festival concert

- Contribution towards a marimba purchase

- To cover the cost of staff to run a percussion ‘taster’ workshop.

Our PHPA Adams xylophone and the vibraphone remain fully committed to free loans to music students to enable them to reinforce and extend their learning at home.

We organised a fund raising online concert with video clips supplied by our Artistic Supporters and by some of the students who have benefited from financial awards.
