FCFC are also proud to play an active role in
supporting many local community causes &
projects. The club achieved FA Charter
Standard Community Club status (2020) and

time, effort and energy of a dedicated
volunteer network of Managers, Assistant
Managers & Coaches. Without their
commitment, FCFC wouldn't be able to offer
the broad range of football opportunities it

momentum - as of Spring 2022 we had 587
paid-up club members and 39 regular teams.
Notable achievements during the last year:

Baby Ballers: a Saturday morning
introduction to football for children
aged 3 – 11 years continues to
flourish, and has been re-badged
Little Lions and Lionesses.

New chair: in December 2022, our
current chair had to stand down for
personal reasons. We appointed a
new chair – Ray Pendleton – an
existing committee member as our
new chair in March 2023.

End of season awards event: in June
2022 the club had its first end of
season celebration event. Every
player across all age groups was
presented with a medal, and
entertainment was provided including
music, inflatables and face-painting,
all provided free of charge.

County FA involvement & wider
recognition: we first gained Charter
Standard Community Club status
with the FA in 2020,and continue to
maintain our accreditation.|

**APPOINTMENT OF CHARITY TRUSTEES**

may appoint up to 2 additional trustees.
(3) In selecting individuals for appointment
as charity trustees, the charity trustees must
have regard to the skills, knowledge and
experience needed for the effective
administration of the CIO.
**RETIREMENT AND REMOVAL OF**
**CHARITY TRUSTEES**
All trustees must retire at the next AGM, but
may stand for re-election.
**DELEGATION BY CHARITY TRUSTEE**S
The charity trustees may delegate any of
their powers or functions to a committee|
or committees, and, if they do, they shall determine the terms and conditions on which the delegation is made. The charity trustees may at any time alter those terms and conditions, or revoke the delegation. This power is in addition to the power of delegation in the General Regulations and any other power of delegation available to the charity trustees, but is subject to the following requirements: (a) a committee may consist of two or more persons, but at least one member of each committee must be a charity trustee; (b) the acts and proceedings of any committee must be brought to the attention of the charity trustees as a whole as soon as is reasonably practicable; and (c) the charity trustees shall from time to time review the arrangements which they have made for the delegation of their powers

**Report to the trustees/** Formby Community Football Club **members of On accounts for the year** June 2023 **Charity no** 1186194 **ended (if any) Set out on pages** I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the financial period ended June 30[th] 2023. **Responsibilties and** As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
**Independent** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which give me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
