To relieve sickness and promote good
health for the public benefit for those
who have been diagnosed with Triple
Negative Breast Cancer. To raise funds
to support research into Triple Negative
Breast Cancer and support new trials
and treatments.
This year we have kept in mind the
Charity Commissions Guidance and our
commitment to raise funds to support
research into Triple Negative Breast
cancer. We were able to make a
substantial donation to Action Against
Cancer to support two trials. The funds
were used to support Dr Nina Moderau's
work at Imperial College London looking
at Nanoparticles for drug delivery and
an Immunotherapy trial being run at The
University of Sussex. This was made
possible due to funds being raised at
The Manchester Marathon. This was
undertaken by a team of runners who
had sadly lost a dear family member. We
have continued to pay for holistic
treatments such as reflexology for those
diagnosed with TNBC and their family
members. We have also been able to gift
supermarket vouchers, treat hampers
and vouchers for cinemas and theme
parks which have enabled families to
make lasting memories. We continue to
fund mental health support as we
recognise the impact a diagnosis has on
the individual diagnosed and their
famil members.
Trustees are aware of the guidance
issued by the Charity Commission on
Public Benefit and ensured this was met
throu
hout the
ear.

Achievements and Performance
SORP referen
This year our main achievement has
been raising funds to support further
research into clinical trials and potential
treatments of Triple Negative Breast
Cancer.
We have a good relationship with Action
against Cancer and we are able to
decide which trials to support
financially which we feel benefits
society as a whole. We are grateful that
this information can be shared with us
and the team at AAC respect our desire
to wholly support Triple Negative Breast
Cancer trials. We were able to have
another visit to Imperial College,
London to see what exactly those funds
were helping with. By meeting the team
of Scientists and asking questions we
were able to understand further the
ortance of the work the
do.
