We’ve signed off on the rigging after lengthy delays with structural engineers – the install is set to go ahead mid-end of July and should be completed by mid August. This will see the install of the rigging, facility panels, control systems, lecture facilities, projector, and screen. This will be followed by the install of the curtains (delayed until after the main install to allow for precise measurements to be taken).
We’re also currently identifying what lighting fixtures to purchase, and procuring the other necessary equipment we need so the venue can operate fully. These purchases are being held back until all building works / main install aspects are complete to allow for suitable contingency budget – I expect to be placing orders for this at the end of August.
