Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The feeding program has had a tremendous impact over this year due to the continuing impact of Covid and inflation. The global financial changes which have happened over the year have caused a tremendous spike in inflation and therefore the price of food. For several hundred people our meal was the only thing keeping them from starvation. This has had a wider impact of reducing the frequency of crime and allowing children to be able to go to school. An individual who is starving or who can’t provide for their children is far more likely to commit a crime than an individual who is simply hungry. This remains the main motivation for the type of aid Caring Heart provides. |
