Para 1.20 | 31 October 2021 we have rehomed approximately 22 boxer dogs and boxer crosses through our charity. These dogs have been signed over into our care through hand ins from previous owners and also from local pounds where the dogs have been strays and have served their 7 days so would have been euthanized if we had not rescued them. We have also provided support and information for people who have adopted dogs from us and also to the general public. In March 2020 the global pandemic meant that for the majority of the year we were in various stages of lockdown. This meant that we were unable to fundraise in the conventional ways face-to-face and also limited us being able to rehome dogs. During this period, we focused on the future for the rescue and got our website redesigned and purchased a new vehicle to enable us to continue our work more efficiently once restrictions are lifted. Despite challenges due to lack of fundraising opportunities we continue to be in a good position financially and have generous supporters of the charity. |

financial position at the end
of the period
Statement explaining the Para 1.22 We aim to hold 12 weeks’ expenditure cash
policy for holding reserves in the bank account as unrestricted
stating why they are held reserves. At the end of the financial year
ending 31 October 2021 we were
considerably under this due to the impact
on fundraising. However, with lockdown
restrictions our expenditure has currently
reduced therefore this is not an area of
concern. Once we are able to we will
rebuild our reserves level through
fundraising events.
