**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES OF, AND CURE FOR, CHRONIC DISEASES INCLUDING (BUT WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) COMMON DISEASES THAT HAVE A STRONG GENETIC INFLUENCE; ANDSUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE BOARD IN ITS ABSOLUTE DISCRETION FROM TIME TO TIME THINKS FIT.

**Activities:** The CDRF, an independent medical research charity, funds a range of research programs that aim to discover the cause of common chronic diseases such as heart disease, arthritis, migraine, asthma, dementia. The CDRF runs many projects at the Department of Twin Research, St Thomas&#x27; Hospital. It is hoped the research will contribute to the development of future diagnostic tests and treatments.
