The purpose of Cylth Meithrin Rhaeadr as

The aim at Cylch Meithrin Rhaeadr is to offer
every pre-￿h0o1 child in the calchment area
th8 opportunity to have early years
8xpenences through the medium of the
Welsh language, to support OLrtdoor18aming
as much as possible and to encourage new
experiences to all children and to build
resilience.
Cylch Meithrin Rhaeadr aims to provide
stimulating leaming and play for pre-school
children through the medium of Welsh, using
the indoor. outdoor ar)d wo¢)dland areas to
deltver the foundation phase, funded by
Powys County Council. It also offers the 30-
hour free chiklcare service over four days.
The facilty has been adapted specifically for
ifs needs and can accommodate up to 24
children in each playgroup session. It is a
istered member of Mudiad Mesthrin.
The trustees have had regard to the
guidance issued by the Charrty Commission
on public benefft.

Achievements and Performance
SORP refe¥8
The Cylch retained the Leader and
welcomed 2 new members of staff,
one with L5 and one with L3
childcare qualifications. Additional
staff were employed to allow admin
hours also.
Standards of Welsh within the Cylch
improved over the year with
increased support offered through
Mudiad Meilhrin.
The indoor space within the setting
was changed throughout the year to
keep the location fresh for both staff
and children.
Demand for spaces at Cylch Meithrin
Rhaeadr continues to be strong, with
wartj'ng lists now in place for the 2
year old spaos.
Fundraising by the charity paid for
the Summer leavers party, Chirstmas
party, swimming in the local leisure
centre and a Summer Trip to Park
Hall Fami.
Cyl¢h Merthrin Rhaeadr had a set list
of transition activities with the school
for the chiklren to be intrOdU￿d to
the teacher, visit their futu
dassrooms and get involved with
some school activrties.
