The aim at Cylch Meithrin Rhaeadr is to offer
every pre-school child in the catchment area
the opportunity to have early years
experiences through the medium of the
Welsh language, to support outdoor learning
as much as possible and to encourage new
experiences to all children and to build
resilience.
Cylch Meithrin Rhaeadr aims to provide
stimulating learning and play for pre-school
children through the medium of Welsh, using
the indoor, outdoor and woodland areas to
deliver the foundation phase, funded by
Powys County Council. It also offers the 30-
hour free childcare service over four days.
The facility has been adapted specifically for
it's needs and can accommodate up to 19
children in each playgroup session. It is a
registered member of the Mudiad Meithrin

Demand for spaces at Cylch Meithrin
Rhaeadr continues to be strong, with

Cylch Meithrin Rhaeadr had a set list
of transition activities with the school
for the children to be introduced to
the teacher, visit their future
classrooms and get involved with
some school activities. The largest
cohort of children moved into the
Welsh medium setting of the school
as a result of this.

(a) Every charity trustee must be a natural
person. (b) No individual may be appointed
as a charity trustee of the CIO: if he or she is

No one is entitled to act as a charity trustee

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
