What began as a small, compassionate vision has now grown into a powerful community movement. Today, ThOBs provides pastoral and holistic support across Stafford, Stoke, Burton, New Cross (Wolvethampton) and Cannock-ensuring that no woman walks her cancerjourney alone. As Trustees, we are incredibly proud to present a reportthat reflects another year of growth, connection, and meaningful impact. Key events and highlights June - The ladies enjoyed a joyful and unforgettable trip to Blackpool. From dancing the afternoon away at the iconic Blackpool Tower to sharing aftemoon tea, the day was filled with laughter, friendship, and confidence-building moments. Third annual retreat The retreat once again offered members a much-needed opportunity to rest, recharge and reconnect. Activities included a sound bath workshop, scenic walks, yoga, and a heartfell sing-along to Three Little Birds-raising a glass in loving memory of our beautiful co-founder, Natasha Moore. Her spirit continues to guide and inspire everything we do. October- Sixth Anniversary celebration Reaching six years is a remarkable milestone and a testament to the vision, courage and compassion of Rachael and Tash. Members celebrated together, honouring how farthe charity has come and the lives itcontinues to touch. Wreath Making event Our second wreath-making workshop was a festive triumph. Members enjoyed creativity, connection, mince pies and mulled wine-another example of how ThOBs blends emotional support with joyful shared eXperien￿S. January - Uttoxeter Racecourse The ladies swapped theirwellies for heels and enjoyed a glamorous day at Uttoxeter Racecourse. The eventwas such a success that ThOBs even made national headlines in the Mirrornewspaper-an exciting moment of recognition for the charity. March - Fifth Annual Charity Ball Held atthe County Showground in Slafford, the ball was a spectacularevening of celebration, dancing and generosity. An incredible £22,209.40 was raised-an outstanding achievement thatwill directly support our members and community. April - Sound bath & Tulip Trip Members enjoyed a deeply relaxing hammock sound bath session, followed further in the month by a beautiful day outamong the tulips. These wellbeing activities continue to be central to rtOBs' holistic approach. Support Work and Community Impact Th is year, ThOBs made significant contributions to local cancer services, strengthening care for women across the region: £10.000 donated to the County Breast Care Unit to purchase portable scanners £4,000 donated to Katharine House Hospice to fund a lymph node scanner £10,000 pledged towards a dedicated ThOB room at the new Breast Care Unit, including a pink chairand softfurnishings to create a comforting, supportive space These investments will benefit countless women, reflecting ThOBs' commitment not only to emotional support but also to improve patient experience. Financial Summary The charity remains in a strong and stable financial position. Main Account: £45,416.84 Pledges: £15,344.27 Events Income: £23,295.24 This financial strength ensures that ThOBs can continue expanding its support, deliverin g high-quality aclivities, and investing in local cancer services. Acknowledgements As Trustees, we extend our heartfelt thanks to every ThOB member. Your passion, dedication and hard work are the heartbeat of this charity. Whether organising events, supporting one another, fundraising, or simply showing up with kindness- you make ThOBs the extraordinary community it is. We also honour the legacy of Natasha Moore, whose vision continues to shine through every act of support, every event, and every life touched. Looking ahead With a new 5-yearplan on the horizon, strong financial foundations, and a thriving membership, ThOBs is entering its next chapter with confidence and purpose. We remain committed to widening our reach, strengthening our pastoral support, and ensuring that every woman affected by cancer feels seen, supported and uplifted.
