The Directors present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2024 The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report are listed on page 2. 

Two trustees have resigned, to make way for new ones. 

## **Structure, governance and management** 

The Charity is managed by trustees who are appointed by the church leadership. The board of trustees will consist of members equally representing the church leadership and church attendees. 

## **Charitable objects** 

A) To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statement of beliefs appearing in the schedule hereto in Carmarthenshire and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees may from time-to-time think fit. 

B) To relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby in the said county and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees may from time-to-time think fit. 

C) To promote and fulfil such other charitable purposes beneficial to the community in the said county and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees may from time-to-time think fit. 

## **Charity report** 

This is the 4th set of account of The Calon Church Trust which is based in the heart of Ammanford and carried out a number of different ministries.

The church enjoys good attendance at the Sunday morning services, and have welcomed many new members. 

The church continues to host a number of groups for bible study both on and off line. 

The church has restarted YABC (Youth project for young people) 

We run a regular coffee morning. 

We still continue run the ‘buddy’ scheme keeping in touch with people, taking turns to call them to check on their welfare and give and get help if needed. 

In conclusion, we have had a successful year, and have identified a new direction to take Calon Church Trust forward.
