Activities
We provide free sessions in music, media, creative arts, and language learning to hundreds of local people every week. Our mission is to challenge inequality by empowering people to transform their lives through learning and creativity. We are based in Westgate Ward in Ipswich, one of the most deprived and ethnically diverse wards in Suffolk.
Objects: (1) To Advance The Education Of The Public In Communication Skills Through Subjects Such As Media, Music, Esol And IT(2) To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of The Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Communities Of The East Of England In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society(3) The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit (a) By Advancing Education And Raising Awareness Of Equality And Diversity (b) By Promoting Activities To Foster The Understanding Between People Of Diverse Backgrounds(c) By Cultivating A Sentiment In Favour Of Equality And Diversity
