March **2012** **TAR** 3 ## Section D Achievements and performance ## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** **1) Sunday Dhamma School:** The charity launched a Sunday Dhamma School last year and continues to attract more students this year, showing steady growth and development. **2) Sri Lankan Dance Classes:** The charity introduced traditional Sri Lankan dance classes last year, which have continued to grow in popularity. Classes are conducted on a weekly basis and attract an increasing number of students. **3) Mindfulness Sessions:** The charity successfully offered more mindfulness sessions this year, catering to individuals of Sri Lankan heritage as well as the local community. These sessions promote mental well-being and cultural understanding. **4) Fire Alarm, Security, and CCTV Systems:** The fire alarm, security, and CCTV systems were upgraded to enhance safety and protection. **5) Temple Renovation:** The temple renovation project was successfully completed last year. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. **Independent** I have completed my examination.
