The Anchor gathers weekly as church for corporate worship. prayer and i Bible exposition. These gatherings are open to all and publicised through our website and s(Kaal media. as well as personal Invitat￿n. We met on Sundays in the Gallants Sailing Club. All meetings ha¥e been recorded for use by others. Average attendance has been 60, augmented by those on line. Bible study groups involwng up to 30 people have continued. Partners at the Anchor are encouraged to live out their faith in generous and sacrtficial servTrce. This includes support for the lonely, elderly and sick by visits and telephone calL8. We estimate over 500 such calls during the year. The Rector conducted 8 funerals during the year. supporting those families through their bereavement. Other pastoral care has included marriage support for CoUp￿S experiencing difficulties in their relationships and support for parents. especially through °Little Anchors- for parents and carers with pre-school children. Our Youth Worker is seconded to Fowey River Academy to run a school fami project SUPt)orting disadvantaged & disaffeded pupils.
