Objedivay and knivities
The Footprints Family UK exists to relieve povety, advance educatiory and improve the
welfare of vulnerable Children and famili¢s in Kenya.
Our mission is to provide a saf4 nurtUTin& and sustainable environment where every Child
h&5 access to education, nutritious fool and healthcare - empowering them to reach thpjr fijll
potential.
During this reporting period. we continued to deliver prO￿aMme8 that focus on '.
. Education and training for thildren and young people
. Nutrition and healthcare for pupils at Footprints Academy and thildren within the wider
ommunity
. Community outreach through dignity packs and skill-based workshops
. Sustsinability and Infrastruc￿[e improvements to ensure long-t&in stability foT the project
in Kenya
Achievements and Perforn]ance
The period between April 2024 and March 2025 has been one of Continued gro￿￿ .
sustainability, and impact for The Footprints Family, both in Kenya and the UK.
One of our older young people rA)mpleted his university degree and is now a BA in
Internation￿ Studies
One of our older young people was chosm to ¢ompets in Rugby with the South Coast Pirate
Two of our older young people took their first flight on a plane from Nairobi to Ukunda
Based Titanium donated funds to build a new dinning room so we are able to feed the
hildren at the Footprints academy at Kunchtime
Our school library was created
We held Teacher Training Workshops in Arts and CraftslM¢ntsl Well-beingJFirst
Aid/Computer Technology
Base Titanium donated play equipment from old pipe5, tubes and tunnels
The Chicken Project Teturned producing our ovm chickens and eggs to eat improving our self
sustainability
New Food Store was created
Education
. Four fidly operational primary Khool blocks have now been completed on-site, providlng a
safe and stimulating learning environment for up to 150 pupils.
. W¢ Continue to support six students in further education (college and univernity), all of
whom have gro￿ up within the Footprints Family progranune.
. A six sttjdents remain in secondary school, with their thition. materials, and living
expenses fuIly supportcd by the clwity.

Nutiition and Welfare
. The charlty continues to provide daily POTridge and hot lunthes for all 259 chlldren
attending Footprints Academy- ensuring that no d)ild learns on an empty stomach.
. In addition to SUPPOTting the children on-site, our outreach programme continues to &8SiSt
local families thr￿g￿ the provision of dignity packs (induding mattr¢sse4 food parcd4 and
hygiene supplies).
IDftastructure and Sustsinability
. This year marked a milestone achievement as the entire FootprAnts site b￿a￿e fully
powered by solar energy, r&lucing running Costs and improving sustainability.
. To fiwther devdop our long-t¢rni Visio￿ we made the strategic decision to sell our buses
and vehicles, reinvesting the proceeds into the construction of a bo&rding facility for children
who a safe and stable home environment during tern] time.
. The facility is now well underway and will si8nificandy increase our capacity to support
vulnerable childTrn who would otherwise struggle to acces8 education.
Staifmg and Local Fjnploym￿t
. The Footprints Family now employs 24 dedi¢atsd staff members in Keny4 including
teachers, caregivers, cooks, maintenance workers. and security personnel.
. The charlty continues to prioritise IIKal employmenL providing fair wages and opportunities
for professional development.
Fundraising and UK Activities
. Fundraising in the Uk rem&ns with CAW Annual CIwAty Ball continuing &8 our main
evenl raising £18,000 dwing the 2024 ev￿t.
. Additional funds have been raised through individual donations. community even( business
partnerships. and online campaign4 all of which help sustain our core programmes.
. We continue to build awareness and partheTships through our membership with Greater
Bimiingham Cbamber of Comrn￿ helping to ConD￿t local businesses with our
international work.
Financial Review
The charity remaios in a stable financial position. Funds raised in the UK have been direct&
primarily toward:

. Staff salaries in Kenya
. Construction and sustainability projects (solar power and boarding facility)
. Food and welfare provision for children and families

Over the past 17 Ye￿￿, The FIK>tpiints Family has trdnsfornied the lives of more than 200
children and their families. This year Has demonstrated resilience, innovation, and the
ontinued power of community-both in Kenya and h¢r¢ in the UK.
We remain deeply gratefill to all our supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and partners who make
this life-thanging work possible. Together, we continue to change lives one step at a time.

As the founder of The Footprints Family, I am proud to refiect on another remarkable year of
growtty resilience, and transforniatioll. From our humble begimiings 17 years ago to the
thriving community we have today, the heart of Footpiints remains the same - to give every
Child the chance to grow up in safety. di￿lty and hope.
This year. we have se¢n the power of sustainability and community in aclion. The eniare
Footprints site in Kenya is now fully powered by solar energy, a milestone that not only cuts
costs but represents our long-tem committnent to environrnentsl responsibility and
independence.
We have continued to strengthen our educational foundation, compEeting all of grade 1-6
primary school dassrooms and supporting over 150 children datly with educatio￿ lunchtime
meal4 learning mat¢rial& and wellbeing care. Beyond the classroom, we are nuriuring the
next generation of leaders - with six students in university or college and six more in high
school. all fully Support￿ through the ch￿lty. Our full cirde of care over 17 years means we
ar¢ now able to employ 3 of our young people WAtbin the Kenyan organisation.
Our 24 local staff remain the backbone of our mission. ddivering quality care and education
wbile ensuring the Footyints Family rell￿1n$ a place of love and opportunity.
In the UK, our community of supporters Continues to make all of this possible. The Annual
ChaTity Ball once again stood out as our flagship fimdraÈsing even¢ raising £18,000- fLmd8
that go directly towards Djnning cost4 educational programmes, and our honie based care
programmes.
Every achievement this year - from the laughter of children at lunchtime to the solar panels
shinning on our rooftops - is & testament to what compassion and collective effort can
achieve. To8ether. we Continue to thange lives one step at a time.
