We aim to hold enough in reserve to cover at least six months’ rent so fundraising can be carried out in an adequate time frame. We apply to grants from local counsellors, national schemes in order to fund rent for core costs for our storage facility. **Details of any funds materially in deficit** ## **Further financial review details (Optional information)** During the year, funds have been raised principally through grants from local organisations in order to 1) fund the rental of our storage facility 2) fund the provision of supplies to the families we support such as toiletries and mattresses which cannot be donated due to safety reasons. You **may choose** to include additional information, where relevant about: - the charity’s principal sources of funds (including any fundraising); - Going forward, we intend to seek further grant funding from both national - any fundraising); and local organisations and also organise further events such as annual - how expenditure has ball, quiz nights etc. supported the key objectives of the charity; - investment policy and objectives including any ethical investment policy adopted. ## **Section F Other optional information** Please see accounts document. We currently have enough to cover 7 months rent, but we have no grants secured for after this time. We have negotiated reduced rent for a period if the worst case scenario pans out with no funds. Without this the future of the charity is cast into doubt. The trustees continue to take measures to secure funding. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner’s statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
