Note 2 Accounting policies

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
During the year, the charity undertook fundraising and made donations as follows:

£28,000 for the establishment of a primary health clinic at Burgula village in Telangana, India. This was supported by way of £13,551 from Lions Club International Foundation.

£10,000 to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, UK.

£500 to Cancer Research UK

£2,500 to Havens Hospices, UK

£120,864 to the Devdaya Charitable Trust for the prevention of child blindness in Gujarat, India

£70,242 to the Suguna Ram Mohan Educational Society, Hyderabad, India, for financial support of higher education for students from poor families.

The charity maintains a general reserve of £5,075.
