Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1. The Establishment And Maintenance Of One Or More Museums In Tewkesbury.2. The Advancement Of Public Knowledge And Education About The History And Heritage Of Tewkesbury And Its Environs.these Objects Will Be Achieved, In Particular, But Not Exclusively, By:a. Effective Stewardship Of The Cio’s Collections And Archives.b. Exhibiting, Interpreting And Providing Access To Collections And Archives.c. Collecting Artefacts In The Cio’s Own Right, Or In Collaboration With Other Museums.d. Working In Partnership With Other Organisations That Have An Interest In The History Of Tewkesbury And Its Environs.
