Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
During 2024 the membership of the club slightly increased and participation in tennis remained at a healthy level. The club has kept close control of outgoings this year particularly the use of energy as the prices were high during the year. The previous conversion of the floodlights to LEDs has significantly reduced our electricity consumption and hence cost.
Our Pickleball court is now a popular attraction, in regular use, and attracts players that may otherwise not attend our club.
There were no significant capital expenditures during the period, with the club continuing to build our reserve/ sinking funds for a future resurfacing of 3 of our courts, which is planned for the first half of 2026.
