The core-committee work closely with the
Headteacher and staff at the school to ascertain
how the charity can help to further the children’s
educational needs. Armed with this we work
together with parents and the wider community to
arrange events to raise funds to support the
schools’ objectives and to further the social
aspect of school life for both children and
parents.

meetings where staff and parents are always
welcome to participate in.

Para 1.20 Becket Primary PTA is made up of a group of volunteer
parent/carers and school staff who find time during their
busy lives to help to raise funds to enhance our
children's learning experiences and make school more
fun! Becket Primary PTA is actively trying to create
solutions and solve some issues that both our school
and community are facing. Becket Primary is a school
with a big heart, and we care what happens to our
children whilst in our care and beyond– we invest in our
children’s futures.
Fundraising performance(January 2022-August 2022)
£250 of PTA funds were spent on items such as
construction blocks for Nursery. Other funds were spent
on arranging extra curricular activities for the children, ie
a Glow Party and a Dance Workshop. The PTA also
provided a book as a Christmas gift for every pupil.
The Summer Fayre which was pulled together at short
notice by some amazing parents and staff and
successfully raised £484.20.
Other fundraising activities such as the Easy
Fundraising partnerships with the PTA Lottery and
Amazon Smile continued successfully throughout the
year, supported by a handful of staff and parents.
