Be¢ket Primary is a school with a big heart, and we care whal happens to our children whilst in our care 8nd beyond- we invest in our children's futures. Summary of th8 main achievements of the charity, identifying the drfference the charity's work has made to the ircumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. Para 1.20 Fundraislng perfomiance (September 2021-August 2022) Fundraising was again curtailed by the COVID pandemic, with indoor gatherings limited lo the end of the academic year. £9487.63 of PTA funds were spent on items such as construction blocks for Nursery. Other funds were spenl on arranging extra curricular activit18s for the children, ie Glow Party and a Dance Workshop. The PTA also provided a book as a Christmas gift for every pupil. The wildlife area renovation and addition to the trim trail on the front playground were funded by money the PTA won from a funding bid to the Tom Carey Foundalion in the previous academic year. The autumn and winter events from the core fundraising programme including the Christmas Raffle and novelty gifts sales ran at a profit of £519.35. Due to Covid restrictions, the usual events ie. Xmas Fayre & disco could not go ahead. The Spring and Summer saw the return,of the Easter disco and the ever popular, Easter raffle. which together raised £912.21. The Summer Fayre which was pulled together at short noti￿ by some amazing parents and staff and successfully raised £484.20. Other fundraising activities such as the Easy Fundraising partnerships with the PTA Lottery and Amazon Smile conlinued suc￿5$fUllY throughoLrt the year, supported by a handful of staff and parents.
