The Trustees, who are also directors for the purposes of company law, have pleasure in presenting their report and the unaudited financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2021.

## **STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** 

MELROSE PARIS FOUDATION is a registered charity (no. 1185907), incorporated on 22[ND] October 2019, which is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association, and which is managed by the trustees, who are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting, through the Management 

## **OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES** 

Our mission started back in December2016, when my family and I visited my old school in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and decided to help by sponsoring some children who couldn't pay their fees. 

MELROSE PARIS FOUDATION provide help and care that makes a long-lasting difference to children and their parents, by interacting personally at a grass roots level. 

MELROSE PARIS FOUDATION working with two schools in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Sponsor a child at High School or Primary School, and receive feedback on your child’s progress. Other charitable activities undertaken by Melrose Paris Foundation includes collecting clothes, teaching materials and stationary, books, computers, PC and laptop, printers, videos, DVDs, CDs, toys, and medical supplies, which we distribute to schools, medical facilities and families in need within the Western Area of Freetown, Sierra Leone

## **TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2021** 

The trustee have been responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charitable company and which enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. The trustees have also been responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charitable company and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. Small Company Provisions. 

This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions of part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. 

In preparing these financial statements, the trustees have; 

- Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently; 

- observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP. 

- Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent 

- prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis
