As the charity's trustees. you are responsibl8 for the prepardtion of the
accounts in acojrdancè with th8 réquirements of the Charities Act 2011
(Ihe Act-).
I report in respecl of my examlnation of the Trust's aco)unts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrwng out my ex8mination. I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Chartty Commission
under seGtion 145(5Xb) of the Act.
Independent trhe charity's gross income exceeded £250.000 and l am qualified to

Hope Community Projects CoventryTrustees Report
At Hope Community Projects Coventry we are dedicated to providing prattic31 support that fosters
social interaction, offers a famify program of activities and extends friendship, support and advice to
those in need. Our goal is to ensure that children, fa￿lI1eS and individuals receive the right support
at the right time and in the right way. To achleve this we have implemented a diverse range of
programs that empower individuals, boo# their copabi1it125, confidence, understanding and overall
wellbeing.
Over the past 12 months we have actively engaged In community outreach initiative5 collaborating
with Iocdl schools, family hubs, health visiting teams to deliver prograrnrnes of attivttles that dlre¢tly
benefft our lotsl ¢orntnvnity.
Highlighted below are some olthe activitles we have undertaken
l. Wami Space
During the winter period we opened our doors to the communty as a warm space. We want
everyone to find a place of belonging and reconnettion Guests. The Warrn Space was an opportunlty
for people to make new friends and conne£t with their community. Reducifjg S￿la1 isolation and
ensuring the community are warm and space we offer fuel support and g&ve out warm packs for
pÈople to keep warm in their own home
2. Christmas Hampers/Children's Christmas Presents
This year through fundraising and 5UPPOrt from business and donations we have been able to
provide 120 food hampers for households in our community who have been affected by the cost-of-
Itvlng crisis. We also were able to gfft 226 children 5 Chrtstmas presents each. These children had
been at risk of not receiving a gift thi5 Christmas
3. Summer Funday
Our Annual summer Funday brings together the whole community through a day of fun and games
aftd community organi5ations corning together. We offer food and stalls lo support lundraising
effort5 and raise awareness about the positive impart of Hope Communty Projects in our
community.

4. Hope Families
Hope Families brings famllies together durlng the school holSday5 providing a range of activities to
enable famllie5 to reach their full potential. r2cogni5ing the challenges tsted during school holidays
such as increased food costs, lack of stimulating 3ttivrties and soclal isolation. This has Includèd a
brunch club, cooking sessions along with engaging actwities and day trips
5. Community Mile
We launched the Community Mile for thè local authority, people from our lotal communtty receivèd
training from the Mason Foundation to become community champion5. The Community Mile is an
innovative to support vulnerable communlties to rnake a positive difference to people's Iwes,
working to bring ¢omrnunities together, encouraging rnore open conversalions and irnprovlng
overall wellbein& all by doing Their Mile. Their Way., For many of these groups, for va¢ious reasons,
they don't feel able to. or ready to participate in any physical acttvtty. The Community Mile helps to
break down these barriers. providing that important first step and offering a nurturtn& supportNe
and safe environment to help them get started on their physical artiwtyjoumeyl
6. Hope Communlty Meals
We distribute dinner kit boxes to over 2 sthools and a day nutsery within gur local area So that any
member of staff at these placè5 can give g box to any child. whenevèr they see the need. We trust
the èmazin8 teachers, TA'S, pastoral teams, chlldren'5 workers and receptionlsts to give away Mealg
to children who are in need. The meals boxes contain everything for a family to cook a meal that
evening. we aim to make life a little bit better for children afferted by poverty while at the same
time building a different future where the lives of children arè not d&fined by poverty in the first
plate.
