**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS. 2) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING SUPPORT TO PERSONS WHO ARE UNABLE TO MEET THE COSTS OF VETERINARY CARE FOR THEIR ANIMALS DUE TO ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE.

**Activities:** We:- conduct trap/neuter/return programmes for feral cats and rehome to safer environments where possible-work with other organisations including charities and shelters with a similar ethos in order to support cats in need- support cat owners with the veterinary care of their cats in cases where it is deemed the cat will suffer without this- educate owners and the public re: neutering
