This trust was involvcd in protra¢ted negotiations in connection with the West Croydon developmcnt. The assets of the trust could not be transfeed to this charity until the negotiations had been concluded, which has now taken place. We are glad io report that the transfer to Ihis chaTity was doGum¢nted on 14 tkcemb¢r 2023 and was effective on l January 2024. The details of the asscts transferred are set out in the post balance sheet event nol¢ to the accounts on page 4. Th¢ trust¢¢s plans for thc future arc to invest the monies to make a suitable return so that the objects of the charity can be fulfilled. The objects of the charity are to provide accommodation for the assistant curale of St Michael and All Angels with St Jamcs, Croydon, and to promotc religious and Charitable purposes within Ihat parish, to include making grdnts to lh¢ Parochial Church Council (Registered Charity number 1134764). These objects have been fulfilled by the unincorporaled trust throughout 2023 and will be carried out by this charity from 2024 onwards. Activities and PerfornTrancc The charity added a further £1 00 (2022 - £5,000) to its bank account in 2023, received from the unincorporated trusl, in anticipation of the transfer. No other transaction took place in 2023. Other than the bank deposit this y¢ar and last, the charity has. received no income. and incurred no expenditurc, since incorporation to 31 December 2023.
