result of chemotherapy treatment. The
advice and seriices are provided by on8
paid employee and a number of
volunteers who are trained to provide the
services in a nelwork of hair dressing
salons.

Achievernents and Performance

The Trustees consider that HAIR
RE80RN is now recognised both within
the hair dressing "industry" and many
hospital cancer units for the services that
it provides.
y September 2023 HAIR REBORN had
supported over 1,000 individuals with
advice of whom 508 had been referred to
the free in-salon programme, helping
them to achieve a new manageable
hairstyle and to regain confidence and
self-esteem.

benefit to those who receive them.

Our income during the year ended 30
September 2023 was substantially
reduced but a small surplus of income
over expenditure was still achieved and
so relatively substantial reserves are still
held.
The reserves are needed to meet the day-
t041ay operating costs and expenses,
and to ensure that HAIR REBORN can
continue to operate even If the income
continues to fall.
