**6,556.64 **| ||| Funds raised and costings from key events in academic year 2020/2021 This year, notable expenditure total £3,440.00 Another tough year with great difficulties to organise fundraising events. So very little income while still trying to support the school. Highlights of activities held: - Staff chocolate raffle that raised £95.80 ## • Cloud Nine Easter Raffle The prize was a 4-night stay in a Luxury Bell Tent at one of 3 glamping sites. We raised approx. £1,300.00 - The sale of second-hand uniform £489.00 - Easyfundraising raised £176 (amount more than doubled this year). - Bags to school – we have not been able to raise funds due to the lack of access to school during the pandemic. Expenditures: - Mug of treat – funds given to buy some treats for the staff during the academic year. - Gazebo – purchased to give more shelter to the children while having their breaks outside. - The Change Group – Membership to allow staff training to support our LGBT students and give them an environment where they feel safe, validated and understood. - Literacy and Numeracy competition – prizes for competition among Y7-8-9. - Maths – prizes for junior maths challenge for yrs 7 & 8. - Reading challenge for Y9 students – prizes - Christmas boxes – funds given to supply gifts for less fortunate children. - Huge thanks to all staff and PTA members who helped during this rather tricky year.
