Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:3.1 To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of The Area Of Benefit, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents Of The Area Of Benefit, In Particular, But Not Exclusively By Making Grants;3.2 The Promotion Of Community Participation In Healthy Recreation For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit By The Provision Of Facilities For Playing Amateur Sports, And In Particular, But Not Exclusively By Making Grants; And3.3 To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public The Conservation Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of The Area Of Benefit, In Particular, But Not Exclusively By Making Grants.
