The Trustees have understood the guidance issued by the Charity Commission in regard to public benefit and believe that all activity of the Charity adheres to that guidance. **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** ## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** 2022 was another year of consolidation for the Charitable Trust. In the year the Trust received a Family donation of £50,000 and received donations from various sources of £77319. You **may choose** to include further statements, where relevant, about: - policy on grantmaking; - policy programme related investment; - contribution made by volunteers. The Trust made donations to the Children’s Heart Foundation and Fleet Phoenix as well as supporting Jessica Griffin in her fundraise for the Red Cross to help Ukraine. In addition, the Trust was proud to provide a grant of £50,000 to a software start-up https://Truenation.ai. True Nation are pioneering development of tools to take hate out of the internet. These tools are free to use by the public and are helping to combat hate, racism, sexual exploitation and other forms of toxicity on the “net”.
