Trustees Report for Jarrow Musical Theatre Company- Registered charity number 1185706 from 2023 - June 2024
The trustees are mostly committee members and general members elected by the charity’s membership. They meet every month to plan the charity’s activities and review its finances. The trustees are listed below:

The trustees budget carefully for each production and obtain several quotes for costumes, scenery, theatre hire, sound and lighting before going ahead with a show. We do not have any debts.
We have performed the following shows during this period fulfilling our aim to bring affordable theatre to our community in the Jarrow area. We estimate that approximately 2800 local people have benefited. November/ December 2023: Robinson Crusoe May 2024: Oliver
Our production of Oliver allowed us to give rehearsal and performance opportunities to a number of children from the local area. Many of them are staying on with us to take part in this year’s pantomime.
We have decided on our pantomime for the end of the year. This will be Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We are yet to make a decision about next year’s show.
