Para 1.17 | Crondall Primary School Foundation is a registered charity that was established in 2019. The aim stated in the constitution establishing the Foundation is toAdvance the education of pupils at Crondall Primary School. In accordance with the Charities Commission guidance the education of the children is interpreted by the Foundation in the broadest sense, to include all aspects of the curriculum and beyond. |

Achievements and Performance

Para 1.20 | In this accounting period, a total of £3,587 was raised through charitable activites, the main ones are detailed below: From October 2019 through to March 2020, each class hosted their own cake sale to raise funds for the Foundation. A total of £578 was raised. In November 2019, the Senior Leadership Team at Crondall Primary School hosted a movie night after school one afternoon/evening so parents could go late night Christmas Shopping. This raised £372. A second hand uniform sale took place in October 2019 and this raised £42. In February 2020, a go-karting fundraising event was organised through the owners of a local go-karting company where all ticket proceeds would be donated to the charity. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic the event was cancelled but most ticket purchasers opted to donate the ticket money to the charity. This raised £950. In November 2020, Years R, 1 and 2 completed a sponsored walk each to raise money for their own class areas. A total of £1,297 was raised and with this money the classes purchased their own outdoor learning equipment. The Foundation signed up to Amazon smile and advertised it to parents/carers pre-Christmas and this raised £102.54. A parent held a macramé workshop for other parents and this raised £50. In November 2019, a Foundation Charity page was added to the school website so parents were able to find the information required to donate to the Charity. Annual software licences were purchased to support all children in school with the objective of enhancing whole school safeguarding and pupil progress tracking and assessment data. The Foundation paid the excess amount that was not raised by the school CSA towards the new intervention space (old school library) with the objective of improving reading across the whole school. A library subscription was also purchased to improve whole school reading. The Foundation also paid for maths subscriptions to improve multiplication across the whole school and to improve mental addition and subtraction in KS1 children. A Hamilton subscription was also purchased for the development of KS1 History. The remainder was used to purchase SeeSaw the home learning and homework platform, which was used extensively during lockdown and which continues to be used for homework.
