## Trustee report for August 2021 to March 2022
This has been another successful but challenging year for Beech Green Childcare Committee. All the groups are running well and maintaining the high standard of care we expect. Staff have shown high levels of professionalism and dedication. The Trustees do not have any serious incidents to report. We are meeting our public benefit requirements by providing pre-school, before and after school care and holiday care.
## Nursery
- Numbers are high and the introduction of the 30 hours provision has been very successful. The majority of our children now attend from 9am-3.30pm
- A range of training courses have been undertaken by all staff, in line with their role.
- All staff appraisals and supervision meetings have taken place.
- Risk assessments reviewed with the reduction of Covid restrictions.
- We have taken on a level 3 apprentice, which is working very well.
## Out of School Clubs
- Both Breakfast and After School Club sessions are nearly full.
- We have waiting lists for some sessions.
- A range of training courses have been undertaken by all staff, in line with their role.
- All staff appraisals and supervision meetings have taken place.
## Holiday Club
- Holiday Club opened for the Easter 2022 break. It was a very successful club but numbers were very low on some days. The financial viability of running Holiday Club will need to be kept under review.

## **Accountants' report to the trustees of Beech Green Nursery & Out of School Clubs**
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Beech Green Nursery and Out of School Clubs for the period ended 31 March 2021.
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
- 1 which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the trustees have not met the requirements to ensure that:
- proper accounting records are kept (in accordance with section 41 of the Act);
- and
- accounts are prepared which agree with the accounting records and comply
- with the accounting requirements of the Act; or
- 2 to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the eaxmination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
