||||||The lifting of Covid-19 restrictions<br>during|
||||||last year enabled<br>us to hold both our|
||||||annual<br>fundraising<br>events during<br>this|

|identifying|the|difference the|||period,<br>with the ongoing cost of living crisis,|

|beneficiaries<br>and|||any wider||during<br>this period were very successful<br>in|
|benefits to society as a|||||raising another significant<br>sum for local|

||||||due to the no-show ofour celebrity speaker|

||||||As a CIO, we worked<br>hard to respond<br>to|
||||||local charity's needs and their request for|
||||||support<br>during<br>this uncertain<br>economic|
||||||period and cost of living crisis. In total this|
||||||year we distributed<br>over F21,000across 16|
||||||individual<br>charity's and organisations.|

|Following the success of this year's events,||
|we considered<br>how to prepare for a larger||
|scale event for the charity's<br>forthcoming||
|40~ anniversary.<br>This included<br>engaging||
|with our supporters<br>more closely via social||
|media, visiting our charities<br>and diversifying||
|our stalls by asking local growing<br>businesses<br>to sell at our upcoming<br>40~||
|anniversary<br>event<br>in September 2023.We||
|also considered, as a means to make the||
|event more special for the milestone,||
|engaging<br>with a high profile celebrity||
|speaker to ensure<br>maximum<br>public||
|en a ement.||
