Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 FS Bulwark has highlighted the
importance of the well-being of our
young members during the pandemic
and has made movements to support
this. During lockdowns we have not
only offered online activities and
training as above but we also offered an
outdoor support bubble for our most
vulnerable members where guidance
permitted us.
We have continued to better our young
members with nationally recognised
qualifications such as First Aid and
sporting achievements as well as
continuing to offer life skills such health
& hygiene, cooking, leadership,
teamwork & self-reliance.
Since the easing of restrictions we have
also been able to branch out into the
wider community supporting local
church fayres and community charity
works such as tea & toast mornings and
discussing concerns within the
community regarding youth.

Financial Review

----- Start of picture text -----
Review of the charity’s Para 1.21 A year into the Covid-19 pandemic and
financial position at the end our finances have reflected this. With
of the period falling attendance due to covid and
lockdowns our subs payments are
down. Our physical fundraising efforts
have been almost non-existent and
grants have been harder to achieve due
to a lot of resources going to covid
related causes.
At the end of this period our current
balance was £631.18
We also had reserves of £10,045.36,
however majority of this is earmarked
for the purchase of a disability boat that
we have received grant support for.
Statement explaining the Para 1.22 We should hold a minimum of 3 months
policy for holding reserves of average expenses in reserves.
