**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE STUDY OF THE ARACHNIDA,ESPECIALLY SPIDERS, PSEUDOSCORPIONS AND HARVESTMEN, BY PROMOTING STUDY OF, AND ENCOURAGINGINTEREST IN, ARACHNOLOGY FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES.

**Activities:** The British Arachnological Society strives to advance the education of the public in the study of the Arachnida, especially spiders, pseudoscorpions and harvestmen, by promoting study of, and encouraging interest in, arachnology for people of all ages.
